# Political Ads: Publisher Controls

To control political ads, go to [https://admin.adnuntius.com/earnings-accounts/](https://admin.adnuntius.com/earnings-accounts/earnings-account/6d67qnw3fc20pzpz) and click on the Publisher to which you want to make changes.

{% hint style="info" %}
This documentation applies to publishers who buy their own inventory through our marketplace; if you have set up your own network, this does not apply to you.
{% endhint %}

Here you will find three choices for political advertising; Blocked, Allowed and Requires Approval.

* **Blocked** means that no political ads will be allowed. Please note that if you as a publisher buy your own inventory, your own political ads will also be blocked. To allow your own political ads to run, please see Requires Approval.
* **Allowed** means that all political ads will be allowed, and without any pre-approval from you as a publisher. This means that also external buyers will be allowed to buy.
* **Requires Approval** - please see below.

## Requiring Approval

When you set the Publisher to "Require Approval" then every submitted ad will require your approval, unless you set specific buyers (including yourself if you buy your own inventory) to pre-approved.

First, when an ad is submitted an email will be sent. On the Publisher you will see "Contact Users" - here you can specify who should receive these emails. If you do not specify any names then the email will be sent to all users in your account (Team).

On the Publisher you will see "Political Advertisements Awaiting Review". When you expand this link you will see the Teams (buyers), Advertisers, Orders, Line Items and Creatives that have/are submitted.

On the right side, click "Review Creatives" - see the screenshot below for a visual example of the modal window that then opens.

* Click **Approve/Block Creative** to approve/block the individual creative you are looking at.
* Click **Approve/Block All Individual Creatives** to approve/block all the creatives in the list you see below (no future submitted creatives from the buyer will be pre-approved).
* Click **Approve/Block Team** to pre-approve all future creatives submitted by this team. Please note that (1) if you buy your own inventory you can pre-approve your own team, so every campaign submitted by you don't have to go through an approval queue; and (2) you can alternatively pre-approve Advertisers, Orders and Line Items (rather than the Team as a whole).

{% hint style="info" %}
If you choose to block a creative the buyer will be notified, and can make changes and re-submit for approval.
{% endhint %}

Lastly, the review history provides you with a list of already approved creatives. Click "Re-Review" to change your decision at any time.
