# Am I Being Tracked?

Adnuntius acts as a processor to its customers, who control the data. That company should therefore be contacted for this purpose, and then we are able to support with the process. There's a practical reason for this: we do not share data across domains or companies, so we would first have to know what company or domain from which you want to request personal information.

This all being said, here is how you can check if a specific company is using Adnuntius technology to collect user information about you. The video below will show you the process.

If you indeed find that Adnuntius collects user information, you will find some general information about what we collect [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rCZPF_TWBkTgaYeQ9f-lhU8qL_J9eJrv1l1jjf0G9uQ/edit#gid=328667903). Also, while customers should provide you with the tools to opt out of being tracked, you can also [go here to disable tracking](https://adnuntius.com/resources/privacy-policy/).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.adnuntius.com/other-useful-information/identification-and-privacy/am-i-being-tracked.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
